The Kissimmee plant was opened for production in 1969, and is situated on 30 acres with an annual capacity of over 850,000 square feet of architectural precast. Gate Petroleum acquired this facility in 2001. Gate Precast Company in Kissimmee handles design, production and installation of architectural precast concrete projects throughout Florida with a wide range of colors, textures and form. Recent clients include Ben Hill Griffin Stadium Addition (Gainesville, Florida), Miami Federal Courthouse (Miami, Florida), Aventura Hospital (Aventura, Florida) and headquarters for Citigroup and Ring Power (Jacksonville, Florida).
Gate's Kissimmee plant is also a licensed manufacturer of CarbonCast architectural precast panels. CarbonCast is an innovative precast concrete technology that replaces conventional reinforcement with C-GRID™, a non-corrosive, high-strength carbon fiber grid which allows thinner precast sections and can reduce the weight of architectural panels by up to 66 percent, while offering significantly improved corrosion resistance, durability and insulation value.
