The Texas division of Gate Concrete Products specializes in manufacturing and erecting Gate-Core prestressed concrete hollow-core slabs. One of the most durable, versatile building components available, Gate-Core is important for its economy and efficiency in the construction of floors and roofs and is used extensively in multi-story and high-rise buildings, hotels, motels, apartment buildings, condominiums, schools, churches, marinas, prisons and warehouses.
Located south of Houston in Pearland, Texas, the expansive facility with 2.4 million-square-foot production capabilities, has been producing hollow-core slabs since 1971. This plant was acquired by Gate in 1981 and specializes exclusively in Gate-Core, so every step of production - from the testing of raw materials to the final inspection before the truck leaves - is closely monitored by experts. Distribution capabilities allow for 100% truck delivery, serving markets across Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and New Mexico.
